Following the Divine Liturgy, a Celebratory Banquet was held at the Agave Room at Sunset Station, an historic and restored train station at St. Paul Square, not far from Saint Anthony Church.

Our Temple

Saint Anthony Church

Designed in 1918 by Alfred E. Giles, a well known architect in South Texas and Northern Mexico, as a Dutch Reformed Church.  Purchased by Saint Anthony Mission in 1979.  Interior renovation in 1991-92.  Listed as a Designated Historic Structure and San Antonio.

Iconostas Arrival & Installation

Iconostas

Hand-carved in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2005-2006 by Mr. Peter Nedkov.  Iconography by Mr. George Goutsev who has painted the interior of All Saints Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Nicosia, Cyprus.  Installed in Saint Anthony Church in November 2006.  To be dedicated by Archbishop Dmitri in February 2007.
